He was born March 27, 1950, in Clovis, New Mexico to A.V. and Nellie Burch. He married Debbie Christian on May 31, 1972, in Clovis. Jack graduated from Melrose High in 1968, and from ENMU in 1976, later receiving his master's in education administration. He had many jobs, but what he loved most was teaching. He taught at Yucca Jr. High in Clovis, House Municipal and Elida Municipal. Ending his career as Superintendent in Elida, New Mexico. After retiring, he spent much of his time in his shop making things.
Survivors include his wife; Debbie of the home, son; Terry (Jessica) Burch of Portland, OR., daughter; Christi Burch of Albuquerque, NM., and beloved grandson; Elliot Burch of Portland, OR., brother; Cecil (Barbara) Burch, sister-in-law; Roni Nabors and many nieces and nephews.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Waylon Don and R.L. Burch, sisters; Melva Jo Henry and Kendale Burch and brother-in-law; Don Christian.
