Teresa Ann Chaney, born on January 12th, 1962, in Savannah, Georgia, passed away on November 18th, 2025 in Savannah, Georgia. Teresa was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Teresa is survived by her devoted son, Richard Edwards, and his wife, Brandi; her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa Wilson and her spouse, Shannon, and Austin Edwards. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Angela Smith and Neva Chaney, along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence "Bud" Chaney; her mother, Rosalie Blitch Edwards; and her brothers, Rick Chaney and Tom Christie.

With a servant's heart and an intrinsic passion for caring for others, Teresa spent over a decade as a dedicated in-home healthcare provider, offering comfort and support to those in need. Previously, she served in the electronics department at Walmart, where she held a position as department manager. Known for her compassion and kindness, Teresa touched countless lives and will be remembered for her selflessness and her servant's heart.

Her home was filled with life and nature, as she took great joy in nurturing her many plants. A book was never far from her hands, as she delighted in reading and losing herself in the pages of countless stories. A talented amateur photographer, she captured beautiful moments and memories to cherish forever.

Above all, Teresa was a loving "Nana" to her grandchildren, sharing a bond of love and laughter with them that will be eternally treasured.
