In loving memory of Teresa DeBlasis (nee Petrone), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Passed away on February 18th, 2024, at her home in North Bergen, New Jersey. She is survived by her husband, Arthur DeBlasis Jr., her son, Arthur DeBlasis III, her daughter, Debbie Becker, and her son-in-law, Raymond Becker. She was known as "Nana" by her two beloved grandchildren, Erika and Luke Becker.
Teresa grew up in West New York, New Jersey, as part of a big Italian family and was one of 9 siblings-7 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her sister, MaryAnn Hagen and family.
Teresa was an amazing artist. She loved to draw and paint and filled her home with the most beautiful paintings. Teresa loved to laugh and always told the best stories. She was always dressed to the nines and wouldn't leave the house without her hair teased up and lipstick on.
Teresa will be remembered for her kind, loving heart and generosity to all who knew her.
There will be a private funeral service to celebrate Teresa's life to be held on Thursday, February 22nd, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Blackley Funeral Home, located in Ridgefield, New Jersey. Burial to follow at Hoboken Cemetery, North Bergen.
Teresa DeBlasis,"Nana" will be missed every day but her love, strength, and memories will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

ROSITA (Joseph) CAREY

April 11, 2024

Terri & her family were neighbors, they lived across the street from me (Rosita Joseph Carey). We would have barbeques, Terri got me interested in art work. Terri was friendly, easy to talk to, we were all like family. I am going to miss her.
