Teresa Lyne Gonzales
Beloved mother of 6, dearly departed on May 2, 2025, leaving a void her family could never fill.
She was born to Robert Slater and Phyllis O'Connor in American Fork, Utah, on July 22, 1954. Despite insisting, she was 35 for 10 years straight, she was 70 years old at the time of her passing.
Teresa attended Brighton high school, then went on to study a short while at the University of Utah. Later working, helping people and the community for the State of Utah and eventually retiring after almost 30 years of service. All of which amazed her family who were certain Teresa would run away and become a football coach.
Teresa was a very devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and Denver Bronco fan.
Teresa found great joy spending time surrounded by family, especially for holidays, and specifically Thanksgiving. She absolutely loved everything football, and you definitely knew it was football season if you ever stopped by her house on a Sunday. GO BRONCOS!!
Teresa was welcomed in heaven by her parents Robert and Phyllis, her Dachshund Bubbas, ex-husband Rudy Gonzales, and her precious daughter in-law Gina Gonzales.
She is survived by her two half-brothers, Scott and Tim Slater, her 6 children, Ryan, Jade, Rudy Jr. (Christina), Tina, Kelli, Cole (Leah), her 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
They will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Extremely selfless and strong beyond measurement, we give absolute thanks and appreciation to our God above for the time he blessed us with this wonderful and amazing woman.
We couldn't have asked for a better mother and will miss her every day.
