Teresa Marie Granda, a beloved lifelong resident of Hardee County, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on April 5, 1957, Teresa was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Teresa was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Pedro "Pete" Granda, her cherished grandson, Kevin Jenkins, and her parents, Marie (Garner) Herrin and Herbert "Boy" Herrin. She was also welcomed into eternal rest by her sisters Marlene Waring, Bonnie Colson, Sandra Smith, Debbie Leek, and Molly Ownby, as well as her brothers Buddy Herrin and Michael Herrin. She is survived by her loving children, Angela Jenkins (Kenny), Becky Granda (Chris), and Robert Granda (Amy), who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Teresa also leaves behind two grandsons, Chris Kilpatrick and Wesley Granda, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is further survived by her sisters Patty Smith and Susan Smith, along with a multitude of nieces and nephews who were deeply cherished by her. During this difficult time, we remember Teresa for her radiant smile and the boundless love she shared with everyone she met. Her presence brought joy and warmth to countless lives, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our memories. Teresa's laughter and kindness will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Your love and light will never be forgotten.
