Teresa Joan Higgins

Teresa Joan Higgins, of Richboro, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025 at 74 years of age. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Joseph Higgins. Teresa lived a life of faith, filled with joy and laughter and an unwavering devotion to her family.

Teresa was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Rose Kenny (Staryzk). She grew up in a household filled with love, support and a strong foundation of faith, alongside her five beloved siblings: Joseph (MaryJo) Kenny, Rose (Jim) Slizewski, the late Mary (Donald) Crane, John Kenny and Anne (Curt) Kieser.

Teresa is survived by her children: Lisa Higgins Gordon, Angela Dougherty (Michael) and Christina Higgins. She dedicated her life to her family, instilling life's challenges with courage, wisdom, dignity and love. She also leaves behind her seven cherished grandchildren: Jason, Sean, Olivia, Michael, Moira, Madison, and Matthew. She is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews and cousins whom she loved to laugh and spend time with. Her infectious laughter and loving spirit will be missed by all that love her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday November 18, 2025 at St Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd, Richboro, PA 18954, from 10:00am until the Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment will follow on Thursday November 20, 2025 in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 9:30am.
