Teresa Ann Juenemann of Newberg, Oregon, beloved mother and grandmother, died June 2, 2025 at age 87, at her home in Newberg, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1937 in Roy, Oregon to Jim and Frances Moore. She attended grade school and high school in the Roy and Verboort area, graduating in 1956 from Verboort High School. She attended classes for seamstress training and she worked as a waitress and a nanny for several families.
She married Bill Juenemann on June 4, 1959 in Roy, and the couple settled in Newberg. She loved children and began her family right away. She had twins, Kathleen and Ken, then John, Linda, Maryann, Michelle and Fred over the next eleven years. When her younger children began elementary school she began providing in-home daycare for families from her church and community. She continued babysitting for over 30 years.
Her faith was always important to her and she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Newberg for over 65 years. She was a long time member of Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society. She often helped with funeral and hospitality ministries, providing food for receptions, and church social events. She was also on the church prayer chain, praying for intentions of those in need of prayers.
She is survived by her seven children, eleven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, as well as three siblings, Jim Moore, John Moore and Margaret Shaw.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 17, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church. A Rosary will precede the funeral at 10:00 am and a Burial service will follow the funeral at St. James Cemetery, McMinnville, Oregon. A reception lunch will be held at St. Peter's following burial services.
