Teresa G. (Snell) Keeler - of Essexville, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in her home. Teresa was born on July 23, 1962, in Flint, Michigan to the late Harvey and Patricia (Rock) Snell. Teresa was raised in Montrose, Michigan and graduated from Hill-McCloy High School. Later in life she moved to Essexville, Michigan and lived with her companion, Bruce and Shih Tzu, Nala.
Teresa had many Nanny jobs throughout her life. She always treated children as her own. She was always the life of the party, who was fun, adventurous, caring, always willing to try something new, while having a sense of humor like her father. She loved shopping at thrift stores, enjoyed lakes, camping, boating, going anywhere North of Montrose; especially loved sitting by the fire with friends while having a cold one in her hand, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories.
Surviving are her Sister: Anggie (Gary) Shank; Aunt: Betty Feher; Nephews: Chase Shank and Carson Shank; Nieces Ava Snell and Isabelle Snell; she was a Special Aunt to Levi, Garrett, Justin and Jamie. She had many cousins but two were like Sisters to her, Jackie and Rene. Teresa was blessed with an enormous circle of friends and family - she loved her people big and they loved her right back!
She is preceded in death by her brothers Harvey (Kip) Snell and Michael Snell; many Aunts and Uncles; especially her Aunt Delores whom she was very close to, along with many cousins and close friends.
Thank you so much for the prayers and offers of sympathy. We are at a loss for words but comforted knowing she is no longer in pain and in a better place with our heavenly father and those family members and friends that have passed before her. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Montrose Eagles Club, 11416 Vienna Rd, Montrose, MI 48457.
