Teresa McAuliffe Krzyzaniak (nee Sayers) of Cartersville, GA formerly of Lansing, IL passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023. Teresa was born on June 27, 1940 in Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. Loving mother of Eileen Ann (Will) Patterson, Noreen (Bryan) King, Denise (Jim) Alguire and Tim (Jessica) McAuliffe. Grandmother of Ashley (Barry) Muldrey, Breann (Shane) Feuerbach, Cailee King, Kaylob (Katie) McAuliffe and Timmy McAuliffe. Great grandmother of Jack, Isla, Declan and Genevieve. Special friend to James Martin. Fond Aunt to many.
Loving sister to Breda (late George) Deady and Noreen (late Martin) Curran. Preceded in death by her parents John and Johanna Sayers, siblings, Jim, Mary, Kathleen, Paddy, Jack and the recently deceased Ann.
Teresa worked first as a bank teller at Riverdale Bank followed by 25 years in the Deli at Walt's Food Center. Teresa loved making ceramics, crocheting and reading.
We would like to thank the caring staff at Townsend Health and Rehabilitation. Their kindness and attention provided to our mom has meant the world to us.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until a short service at 1:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415.
