Teresa Lichtle, 75, passed away Tuesday evening, Oct. 8, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after an eight-year battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 6, 1949, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Clyde and Inez (Baker) Meyers.
Teresa graduated from Providence School of Nursing in 1980. She was a registered nurse at Firelands Regional Medical Center, where she worked in surgery. Teresa enjoyed gardening in her spare time.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lichtle, whom she married March 29, 1980; six children, Traci Balduff of Woodruff, South Carolina, Becky (Lee) Martinez of Defiance, Kelli Jordan of Sandusky, Chad (Brooke) Payne of Aonea Path, South Carolina, Joshua Lichtle of Sandusky, and Kendra Lichtle of U.S.N; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Randy Balduff.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, until the time of Teresa's funeral at 12 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Darlene Hawkins presiding. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
