Teresa Marie Little, age 69, of Clinton, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1956 in Livonia, MI, the daughter of the late Ronald Douglas and Carol Elaine (Hernden) Trotter. On August 19, 1988, Teresa was joined in marriage with Joseph Paul Little in Livonia, MI, and he preceded her in death.
Teresa was very passionate about the health care industry, holding jobs such as EMT, and phlebotomist. She enjoyed sharing many stories about her journey in those fields. Teresa was a story teller, she told stories about the horses she owned, and the adventures she took with her siblings and cousins. As time passed Teresa became a grandmother, and shared her passions and stories with her grandchildren whom she adored. Especially her love of sweet treats which she was always sneaking into their pockets.
Teresa is survived by her children, Andrea (Kenneth Phelan Jr.) Trotter of Tecumseh, MI, Jessica (Jeffrey) Lewis, Stephanie (Dylan) Goodell of Manitou Beach, MI, and Joseph Little of Clinton, MI; her seven grandchildren, Wyatt and Aurora Ewert, Atticus Lewis, Tessa Budney, Kylie and Raegan Goodell, and Quinn Phelan; her siblings, Susan Rowett of Petosky, MI, Ronald (Mary Trotter) of Livonia, MI, and Michelle and Renee and Thomas Trotter, all of Wolverine, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and her parents.
At her request cremation has taken place. The family will hold a Celebration of Life in honor of Teresa at 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes, with Pastor Lyle Thompson officiating, and with visitation preceding, beginning at 3:00 pm.
