Teresa Marie Lozoya

Teresa Marie Lozoya (47) was born on March 20, 1978 in Houston, Texas and passed away on June 30, 2025, in Humble, Texas. She is preceded by her mother Maria Lozoya.

She was a woman whose love knew no limits. Her warmth, laughter, and big heart left a lasting mark on everyone she met. She found joy in helping others grow and believed deeply in the power of education, compassion, and community. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she nurtured both inside and outside the classroom. She radiated kindness, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people.

Teresa is survived by her husband Ricky Peralez of 5 years of marriage, sons Armando Perez, Jonathan Peralez, daughters Monica Flores, Esmeralda Flores, her father Jesus Lozoya, brother Danny Lozoya & Denice, sister April Salazar & husband Joel, one grandchild Uri Matthew Pina Perez, niece Mia, nephews Abriam, Fabian, Gabriel, Ivan, Jesse, Cristian, Aaron, numerous other loving family and a host of friends.

We are all better for having known her, and she will continue to inspire us to be our best selves, to smile through the hard times, and to always look for the light in the world.
