Teresa Ann Parsons

Teresa Ann Parsons, age 64, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2025. Teresa was born on January 16, 1961, in Des Moines, daughter of Bob and Mira Miller.

Teresa graduated from Des Moines Tech in 1979. On June 28, 1986, she married the love of her life, Raymond Parsons, and together they built a beautiful life.

Teresa will be remembered as a kind, helpful, and deeply caring individual who always put others first. She found great joy in the simple act of spending time with loved ones around a crackling campfire, where laughter and stories flowed freely.

Her sons, Daniel Parsons (wife Barbra Parsons) and Andrew Parsons (wife Carolyne Nowell-Parsons), were her pride and joy. Teresa was also a loving grandmother to Jayden Bentley and Axel Parsons.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Raymond; her beloved sons and their wives; her grandchildren; her younger brother, Jim Miller (wife Sherri Miller); her nieces and nephew, along with additional relatives and close family friends. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mira Miller.

Teresa will be missed by those who knew her. Her memory will remain the hearts of those she touched.

We will be doing a Celebration of Life on August 22, 2025 from 5PM to 7PM at the Grandview Shelter House.
