Teresa Queen Obituary
Jean was born in Haywood County, North Carolina, to the late Ray and Nell Haney on September 6, 1948. Jean married her surviving husband, Keith Queen of Clyde, North Carolina in 1968, devoting herself as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Her son, Joel Burton Queen, preceded her in death, and they are now united in heaven.
Jean is also survived by her daughter, Keitha Queen Albright (Ben) of Pickens, South Carolina, and Jean's four cherished granddaughters, Skyler Albright Acevedo (Cody), Ava Laurel Queen, Shayna Grace Albright, and Alldyn Rae Queen.
Her legacy is one of a Christian, devotion to her family, love, and kindness. Jean was known as a talented pianist and organist, as well as her other musical talents. She started at a young age playing the piano for her church at 12 years old. After graduating from Clyde High School, Jean was also a graduate of Blanton's Business College, where she used her acquired financial knowledge to work in the banking industry for many years. She and Keith traveled all over the country, visiting most of the United States, enjoying life. To honor her memory, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Samaritan's Purse, an organization near to her heart. Jean and I worked together at HomeTrust Bank (formerly Clyde Savings and Loan) for many years. Our children are all the same age and participated in sports in Clyde together. My prayers go out to all of Jean's family. I know she will be missed.
