Teresa "Tracy" Rogalla, June 5, 1948 - November 28, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy (Taylor) Rogalla on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, due to complications with her lungs. Tracy, a beloved wife, sister, and daughter, passed after a life richly lived in Guy, Arkansas, where she resided for over fifty years. Born in Columbia, South Carolina on June 5, 1948, she brought a vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to all her endeavors.

Tracy's passion extended to many areas. She found solace and creativity in gardening, stitchery, and reading. A long-standing and dedicated member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), Tracy poured her heart into researching and authentically recreating pre-17th-century cultures. Her commitment to historical accuracy and the SCA's mission was exemplary. Equally passionate about horses, she owned and cherished numerous horses, many born on her farm. Her love for these magnificent animals extended to a remarkable collection of model horses, a passion that led her to found and direct the Mid-South Model Horse Competition for twenty years, bringing together a community of enthusiasts. Her expertise and collection were often highlighted in local news and publications. Tracy's remarkable talent and perseverance allowed her to master numerous crafts, including cross-stitch, needlepoint, rug hooking, cooking, and jewelry making, always striving for excellence in whatever she undertook.

Tracy is survived by her sisters, Deborah and Sharon Taylor, and her brother, CJ (David) Taylor, who will deeply cherish the memories they shared. Tracy was predeceased by her beloved husband, David Rogalla, and her parents Ralph Taylor, and her mother, Beverly (Billie) Taylor all of whom settled in the Guy/Greenbrier area after military service.
