Teresa Wepel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Foust Funeral Home on Dec. 2, 2025.
Teresa Ann (Knutson) Wepel, 61, of Eagle Grove, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1964, in Wayne, Michigan, to Clyde and Donna Knutson. Teresa attended school in Wayne, Michigan, and Spring, Texas. During her school years, she worked alongside her siblings at the family-owned carpet store, where she met James Morris.

On March 21, 1981, Teresa married James (Jim) Morris in Spring, Texas. Together they raised four sons: Jimmy, Justin, Joey, and Jon. The family lived in Fort Dodge, Iowa, for several years before moving to Eagle Grove. After Teresa and Jim divorced, she later married Robert Wepel in 2008. Teresa and Robert shared their life in Eagle Grove until his passing in 2024.

Teresa was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved fishing, camping, gardening, and collecting frog figurines. Teresa enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, particularly during the holidays, and took pride in decorating for Christmas-her miniature town display was a favorite tradition. Known for her charisma and vibrant personality, Teresa had a gift for lighting up any room she entered.

She is survived by her children: Jimmy (Crystal) Morris, Justin (Alycia) Morris, Joey (Ashley) Morris, and Jon (Dani) Morris; grandchildren Julia (Manny) Hernandez, Jessica Morris, Jaelyn Morris, Justice Morris, Joslynn (Zach) Timmerman, Janessa Morris, Jordan Morris, and Jaxon Morris; great-grandchildren Journee and Axton; siblings Johnny (Laurie) Knutson, Bruce (Karen) Knutson, Lorraine Knutson, and Lyle (Kristi) Knutson; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents Clyde and Donna, father-in-law and Clifford Baldwin, and mother-in-law Katie Baldwin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 28, 2026.
