Robert Lyle Wepel

Robert Lyle Wepel, the son of Roger and Gloria (Maier) Wepel, was born on December 23, 1963, in Webster City, Iowa. He attended grade school and middle school in Webster City, and finished his education at Eagle Grove High School graduating with the "Class of 1982"
Robert married Carol Arne, together they had one child, Marc Botts, and later divorced. He was in a long-term relationship with Nancy Larson and together they had one child, Lyndsey Wepel, and later separated. Robert married Teresa Morris in 2008 in Eagle Grove.
Robert worked for Van Diest and A.D.S, retiring from A.D.S in 2012.
Robert enjoyed listening to music, going to auctions, tinkering on projects like old clocks, and riding motorcycles. One of his favorite things was spending time with family, especially the grandchildren.
Robert passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Clarion Wellness and Rehab in Clarion, at the age of 60 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Wepel; step-daughter, Carrie Larsen and sister-in-law, Cynthia Wepel.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Wepel; mother, Gloria Wepel; son, Marc Botts; daughter, Lyndsey Wepel (Andrew); brother, Rod Wepel (Lisa); step-children: Bobby Larsen, Whitney Davidson, Jimmy Morris, Justin Morris, Joey Morris and Jon Morris; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on October 5th, from 3:00 to 7:00 at Grounded in Clarion, Iowa. Guests are encouraged to ride their motorcycles to participate in Robert's last ride.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
