It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teri McCabe Lomonoco on Saturday, February 28, 2026, who left us far too soon. A devoted Mother and Meema.
Her love, warmth and enduring spirit will live on in them, guiding their paths forever. She was their safe harbor, their biggest cheerleader, and their guiding light. Her laughter and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Teri worked as a teacher and CSEA Chairperson at St. Anne Institute. Her devotion and excellence as an educator to her students shined through in the decades of service.
She was not only a caretaker to all she came across, but also reflected in her beautiful gardening skills that she enjoyed and cherished.
Teri is survived by her husband Carmen Lomonoco, daughter, Tanya DeSanto, and sons Nicholas and Gianni Lomonoco; her grandson Nico DeSanto; her brother, Tony (Jill) McCabe, sister Lisa McCabe; sister-in-law’s Sally (Doug), Mary, and Linda (Lenny); her nephews Tony, Anthony, Josh, Luke, Billy, Christopher; nieces Kristin, Melissa, Kristin, Tina, and Jana; step-daughter, Cathy.
She was predeceased by her Mother Toni McCabe-Beaudoin, Father James McCabe, and brother James McCabe; niece Lauren, step-son “Chuckie.”
Our family would like to give special thanks to Lia Quinn, Laura Zimmerman, and all of the compassionate nurses that helped us during this very difficult time.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie, NY. Interment will be private.
