Brockport: Teresa “Teri” M. (Swingle) McLaren, age 62, beloved mother and grandmother, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, went to meet Jesus on January 25, 2024.
Predeceased by her father Edward Swingle; survived by her mother Helene Sanders, stepmother Nancy Swingle, sister Deborah Waite; and children Michael (Seantel), David (Tory), Philip (Monica), Daniel (Holly), Alexander, Gregory and their father Scott McLaren; grandchildren Ally (James), Derek Joan, Christian, Everleigh, Lydia and Eli.
A loving mother and dedicated worker, Teri loved animals, gardening, quilt making and had a passion for her teaching, her music and her art.
She wishes to send a special message of love to friends Bob and Sandy Wilson, Chuck and Sharon Patt, and two special people Damon and Cory. Though time and distance may divide, you were forever in her heart and on her mind.
Teri’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes 16650 Route 31, Holley NY 14470 on Monday January 29, from 3:00-5:00, followed by her funeral service at 5:00pm. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Kendall in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Disabled Veterans of America.
