Terra Renae Lyde was born on September 21, 1972 In Florence, South Carolina to Estelle Lyde Smiling and the late Walter L. Lyde. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Terra affectionately known as "Nae" was educated in the public schools of Florence School District One. She graduated from Wilson High School Class of 1990.
Terra was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, talking on the telephone and being nosey.
Terra was preceded in death by her father, Walter L. Lyde and grandmother, Elizabeth Ervin.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving caring devoted mother, Estelle L. Smiling; step-father, Herbert Smiling of Columbia, SC; one son, Jeremy (Raven) Timmons of Florence, SC; two daughters, India (Jackera) Timmons and Asia Timmons, both of Florence, SC; four grandchildren, Kinsley Timmons, Bryson Timmons, Carson Timmons, and Kelvon Hannah all of Florence, SC; one sister, Kendra Smiling of Florence, SC; one brother, Marcus Smiling of Florence, SC; niece, Jasmine Smiling of Florence, SC; three aunts, Lurelia Singletary of Florence, SC, Emma Jean (Marvin) Snelson of Cleveland, OH, and Lula Hudson, Lamar, SC; one uncle, Edmond "Bubba" Sims of Florence, SC; favorite cousin, Trenesa Zimmon of Lamar, SC; spectal long loving mate, CharlieBanks of Florence, SC; two friends she loved like family Roy Kelley of Florence, SC and Sandra Robinson of Florence, SC; anda host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at 216 Creek Drive, Quinby.
