Terral F. Harrison, age 84, a long time resident of Hot Springs, died peacefully Saturday, February 13, 2010. He was born on February 23, 1925 at Point Cedar, the son of Curt Stell Harrison and Beulah Mae Sheets Harrison. On June 13, 1948, he was married to Wanda Bright. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Harrison; his parents; one brother; and two sisters. He was retired from United Insurance Company and was of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Bright Harrison of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Don Wood of Hot Springs; three grandchildren, Tera Anderson, Tony Harrison, and Skylar Wood; four great-grandchildren, Jack, Kamryn, Ethan, and Kyleigh; his daughter-in-law and her husband, Linda and George "Buddy" Barker of Hot Springs; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Rev. A.J. Simpson officiating. Interment will be in the Wesleyan Cemetery, Point Cedar, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will be Darin Anderson, Donald Wynn, Vince Mattoon, Jimmy Barker, Franklin Sheets and Marcus Appleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Don and Ruth Wood, Mary Nicholas and her family, and the staff of Hospice Home Care. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Garland County, P.O. Box 1484, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71902 or Hospice Home Care, 1335 Airport Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com
