Terrell Lee Weedman

Terrell "Terry" Lee Weedman, passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 28, 1947, in Hawesville, Kentucky, Terry was a devoted member of the South Jefferson Christian Church in Louisville, where he found solace and community throughout his life.

Terry’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Terri Weedman; and a legacy that includes his grandchildren: Irvin Banks Jr., Terri Miller (Brandon), and Dylan Edwards (Jasmine). Additionally, he cherished his great-grandchildren, Nivaya, Madison, Braxton, Karsen, Irvin III, Anthony, and Ava; who brought immense pride and happiness to his later years.

Terry had a passion for cars, which was a defining interest throughout his life. His enthusiasm and knowledge about automobiles often brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared this hobby.

Despite his many passions, it was the love for his family that defined Terry’s life. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Weedman; parents, Robert and Eloda Weedman; his son, Ricky Lee Weedman; and his infant daughter, Olivia Eloda Weedman. He was also mourned by the loss of three brothers; one sister; and 2 great-grandchildren that will meet him in Heaven.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
