Terrence Thomas Cimino, age 77, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025.
Born and raised in Omaha, Terry graduated from Creighton Preparatory School and then went on to graduate from Michigan State University with degrees in Chemistry, Physics, and Math. He taught Math and Science at Corunna High School in Michigan before returning to Omaha to attend Creighton University School of Pharmacy.
In the early years of his career he also worked as a radio DJ, known as Mike Rivers on air, for WOW. His career in pharmacy included working at Piel Drug and the VA Medical Center of Omaha, the latter of which he retired from in 2010 after 28 years. His love for flying led to him getting his pilot license and doing some traveling with his family. It also led to him becoming a travel agent and opening his own travel agency, Destinations Travel Center, that has been in business for over 36 years. He loved exploring the world and was particularly fond of his time spent in Germany so he could practice speaking the language.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kristine; his father, Joseph Cimino; his father-in-law, Beverly M. Underwood, mother-in-law, Margaret M. Underwood Pugh; and his brother-in-law, Gregory Underwood.
He is survived by his children, Laura (Wilfred) Dennis, Beth (Matthew) Mann, and Andrew Cimino; mother, Marion Cimino, brother, Larry (Joan) Cimino, and sister, Mary Jo (Robert) Wilmes, nine grandchildren: Jordan Dennis, Kelsey Dennis, Caden Dennis, Jakob Cimino, Rachel Cimino, Connor Mann, Ryan Mann, Ellysa Mann, and Peyton Mann; and six great-grandchildren: Traesen, KeLaya, Kache, Kaiden, Kaido and Oakley, and nephews, Christo, Joseph, Thomas, and Sean Cimino.
Terrence will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, and adventurous spirit. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
