Terri Lea Baker, born August 28, 1947, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Jeanette Alfson and Walter Rose, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in Lacey, Washington.
Graduating from Edmonds Woodway High School before dedicating her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her compassion shone not only through her work but also in the way she lived her life.
On October 11, 2002, Terri married Rick Baker. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love. Terri cherished being part of the First Baptist Church of Lacey, where her faith guided and strengthened her throughout her life.
Terri found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved deeply and without measure. Her legacy of love will live on through her husband, Rick Baker & his twin brother Randy Baker; her daughter, Michelle Moss of Whidbey Island, WA; brother Steven Rose of Edmonds, WA; and sister Susie Asslein of Spokane, WA; as well as her nieces, Tiffany Asslein and Nikole Wilkinson, and her nephew, Rick Wilkinson of Roy, WA. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Siearra, Tyresse, Kynea, Ariel, Aryanna, James, Ashton Declan, and her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Syren, and Kendall.
Terri will be remembered for her unwavering faith, and the love she so freely gave. Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched.
A service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery on September 30th at 12pm, where all who knew and loved her are welcome to gather in remembrance.
