Terri Elizabeth Fox, age 63, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2024, at her home. Born in Delaware, Ohio June 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Joe and Lois Irene Morgan VanBrimmer. She grew up in the wonderful small town of Waldo, Ohio, alongside her two beloved sisters, Kelley (Scott) Nichols of Delaware and Diana (Nick) Wolfe of Marion. The bond the three sisters shared was truly special, marked by a love that was beyond measure. Terri graduated from River Valley High School in Marion, Ohio, in 1979.
In the late 1980s, Terri moved to Arizona, where she raised two wonderful children, Casey (Scott) Kirby of Gilbert, Arizona, and Aaron (Katrina) Fox of Tempe, Arizona, with the late Michael W. Fox. Her children were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment with them. Terri was also a devoted grandmother to Parker Mae Kirby, who was the light of her life and, as Parker would say, "Grammy's Best Friend."
Terri had a fulfilling career with Midway and Continental Airlines in the 1990s. Later, she decided to pursue her passion for helping others by continuing her education and graduating from Apollo College as a Medical Assistant. Her love and compassion for people were evident in every interaction, and she found true joy in caring for others.
On December 23, 2008, Terri married Mike Davis, with whom she shared many happy years. She loved Mike's children Jordan (Eddie) McAlister, Brittany (Chris) Samora and Hunter Davis, as her own, along with his grandchildren, Annabelle, Mac, Jadelyn, Karlee, Dylan and Carter. Terri and Mike made a beautiful life together, including their time spent in Lake Havasu, where they enjoyed boating and the serene beauty of the water. Some of Terri's happiest days were those spent in Lake Havasu with Mike, family, and friends.
Terri also leaves behind her two nephews, Nathan and Corbin Nichols, her niece, Alexandria Wolfe, and her great-nephew, Landon Dorfe.
We take comfort in imagining the joyous reunion she must be having in Heaven with her parents, Joe and Lois; her sister, Terry Jo VanBrimmer; her grandparents; and the many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who have gone before her.
Terri's memory will be cherished, and her love will remain etched in the hearts and souls of everyone who knew her. All she really wanted was to love and be loved.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 4:00 pm on September 29, 2024, at the Waldo United Methodist Church, 141 S. Marion Street, Waldo, OH 43356. A fellowship dinner will follow.
