Terri Lowe Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 13, 2024.
Terri Lynn Lowe, 57, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on August 9, 2024. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Shiloh Hills Baptist Baptist Church in Kennesaw, GA.
Terri was raised in Chattanooga, TN and enjoyed her time at the lake and being with her close friends. She became a flight attendant for American Airlines soon after high school and flew for American for 25 years. She had a desire to get a nursing degree and while flying, she attended UT Chattanooga and graduated with her degree to work in labor and delivery. Soon after graduation, she met Tony at a softball game in Atlanta in 2002 and they began dating. They married in 2006 and moved to Acworth, GA. where they had two wonderful children, Alyssa and Tyler. Her desire was to give her family everything including her time and she retired from American after Tyler was born. The next step was to be involved with the PTA at Russom Elementary where she developed some of her most special friendships. Her faith was so important to her and she also began attending Bible study at Burnt Hickory Baptist and later West Ridge in Dallas, GA.
Terri was the most giving, loving, and caring person. Her last years were spent giving to others and watching Alyssa dance and Tyler play baseball. She was the perfect friend, mother, and wife and will be so missed by everyone who knew her.
Terri is survived by Tony Lowe (Husband), Alyssa Lowe (Daughter), Tyler Lowe (Son), Danielle Summerlin (Step Daughter), Marie Lowery (Mother), Donna Lowery (Sister), Wendy Lowery (Sister).

One of the greatest privileges of my life was the short time being a part of Terri's. The sadness of her passing is overshadowed by the fond, bright memories of her kindness and caring for others, her radiating smile and her love of family and faith. The time she shared with others is a treasure to be cherished. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Terri and I were friends from her days as a flight attendant. She was a good friend and roommate. I was so proud of her getting her nursing degree! She was loved by many and will be missed. She will watch over her friends and family from heaven.
