Terry Lee Barnes, age 74, passed away in Saginaw, MI on August 20, 2025. He was born on August 1, 1951, to Duwayne and Hazel (Brodie) Barnes in Curtisville, MI. After graduating from high school, Terry worked for Alcona Park for 12 seasons, AIA, Tube Forming Machinery, and he was a builder until he retired in 2013. Terry married Nancy London in Harrisville in 1984. Terry enjoyed the outdoors. You would find him golfing on Monday nights with the Men's Golf League, fishing with Bass Anglers of the Sunrise Side, throwing horseshoes, and hunting with friends and family. Terry was a great storyteller, and he loved making people laugh, especially children.

Terry is survived by his wife Nancy of 42 years, his children; Tony (Stacey) Barnes of Curtisville, MI, Tommy Barnes of Castle Rock, CO, Sam (Onnie) Barnes of St. Ignace, MI, Leo the playful cat, brothers; Larry (Lori) Barnes, Dale (Debbie) Barnes of Columbiaville, MI, sisters; Carol (Jule) Wilcox of Waterford, MI, Rosie (Bob) Tolen of Curtisville, MI, and Marilyn Tolen of Lapeer, MI, grandchildren; Zachary Barnes, Jonathan Barnes, Little T, Nathan Barnes, Cheyenne Barnes, and Aden Barnes; many nieces, nephews, and grand animals.

In addition to his parents Terry is preceded in death by his brother Denny Barnes. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Curtisville Civic Center on September 28, 2025, from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made in Terry's name to your local Humane Society or Dementia Research Foundations.
