Terry Bort Obituary
Terrance L. Bort, 66, of Syracuse, passed away on February 1, 2025.
Terry was born in Syracuse, New York on August 17, 1958 to the late Donald and Arlene Bort.
He worked for the Greater Syracuse Moving Company for many years. Terry would often be found with a Budweiser in hand, cracking jokes with his family. He was an avid NY Giants football and NY Yankees fan. He found the most joy in spending time with his grandchildren. He truly enjoyed when his whole family could be together.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Arlene Bort; two brothers, Shawn Bort and Donald Kevin Bort.
He is survived by the love of his life, Bambi Chrisjohn; siblings, Lewis C. (Dorothy) Bort, Mary (Lorne) Cohen, Scott Bort, Michael Bort, Charles Bort, Donald Bort, Jr., Pauline (Gordon) Wettering, Patrick Bort, Alan Timmins, George Timmins; children, Matthew Bort, Terance Bort, Darrien Bort, Marshall Chrisjohn, Lee Chrisjohn, J.C. Chrisjohn and Shelby Chrisjohn; grandchildren, Robert, Mny’ah, Maleeya, M’laina, Jarius, Jordan, Laticia, Nova, Daisy, Jesiah, Savannah.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
