New Comer Cremations & Funerals - SyracuseWilliam V. Lasher, Sr., 83, of North Syracuse, passed away February 21, 2026. William was born in Middletown, New York on June 20, 1942 to Wallace and Edna Lasher. William was the owner of Bill's Property Maintenance.
William loved the Lord with everything in him. He walked in purpose and love. He was devoted to his family and those around him. William was a light to all he served. William loved to eat and cook. William was an avid NY Yankees fan. He always made light of everything and joked about everything. He loved dogs and was a dog person especially to his own, Princess and Trouble. .
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth L. Lasher.
He is survived by his son, William (Robin) V. Lasher, Jr.; two daughters, Paula L. (John) Mueller, Lucy (Patrick) Hunsinger; sister, Virginia Clark, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse with a funeral service to follow at 4pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hounds.
