Terry L. Branz

1934 - 2026

JANESVILLE, WI - Terry L. Branz of Janesville, Wis., passed away at Cedar Crest on January 21, 2026. She was 91 years old. Terry was born in Ottawa, Ill., on May 9, 1934, the only child of Arthur and Florence (Van Cleave) Mason. Terry grew up in Streator, Ill., where she graduated from high school in 1952. She attended Brown Business School in Peoria, Ill. She was employed in the office of Hiram-Walker Distillery in Peoria, for a time prior to her marriage.

Terry married Donald W. Branz on November 5, 1958, in Streator. The family moved to Janesville in 1962. She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom, caring for their four children, David, Brian, Steven and Ellen. In younger years, Terry enjoyed dancing, bowling, ice skating and at one time was a member of the Corvette Club. Following Don's retirement, Terry and he enjoyed spending winters in Arizona.

Terry is survived by her four children, David (Trish) Branz, Brian Branz, Steven Branz, Ellen (Shain) Preston; grandchildren, Nicholas (Alicia) Branz, Angela (Luke) Pritchard, Kenneth (Chelsea) Cass, Sarah (Mike) Gibson, Alycia (Michael) Valentine, and Megan (Zach) Preston; great-grandchildren Ava and Hazel Branz; also sixteen given great grandchildren; and two given great-great grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Branz on September 11, 2018. Her parents also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
