Terry Lee Brawner

Terry Lee Brawner, 69, of Berlin Township, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at his home with his wife by his side.
He was born in Detroit, July 6, 1955, the son of the late Revel and Lotus Brawner.
Terry grew up in Detroit and was a 1973 graduate of Redford High School. He was a master mechanic at Chrysler and he later joined the Detroit Police Department. He was known for his fairness, but was a force to be reckoned with if need be. It was at the Department where he met and later married his wife Christine and had two sons.
Larger than life, Terry was known for his comedic antics, wit, intelligence and known to put down a few Budweiser's. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time in his barn where he could build and fix just about anything. He spent countless hours restoring cards, doing home improvements, watching TV and listening to AC/DC. He loved football and the Detroit Lions. Terry lived his life with purpose and heart, creating memories with those lucky enough to have known him (I'm sure they'd all have a story to tell!) He also loved golf and was an avid bass fisherman.
He will be deeply missed and his legacy lives on through the family and friends he adored and the community he served.
He is survived by his loving wife Christine, sons, Kyle (Sarah) and Sean (Lilly); his brother, Randy (Karen); niece, Amy; nephew, Brett (Chelsie); great-nieces, Adelyn and Isla; sister-in-law, Carole; his loyal dogs, Colt, Sam and Bubba who were always by his side; as well as many cousins. Sadly, Terry will miss the birth of his first grandchild in March.
At this time there are no services for Terry. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale.
