Terry Brown

Funeral services for Terry Deleanor Brown, age 80, of Scottsboro, Alabama, formerly of Roanoke will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Trinity Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday before services begin.
Mr. Brown passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Cumberland Care Center in Bridgeport, Alabama.
Survivors include: one daughter, Betsy Holland (Alex) of Scottsboro, AL; three grandchildren, Annie Holland, Elle Holland, and Drew Holland, all of Scottsboro; one brother, Freddy Brown (Alice) of Roanoke; and a special cousin, Rodney Brown of Ranburne.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bailey, Meacham Bailey, Vic Griggs, Rodney Brown, Jason Brown, and Dempsey Roberts.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Brown was born on April 28, 1945, the son of Lowell and Marie Cofield Brown. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, served in the National Guard, and worked for Uniroyal for 40 years. Mr. Brown enjoyed fishing, golfing, football, and classic cars, especially his '55 and '57 Chevy. He was a classic car owner for 35 years. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Christopher Patrick Brown.
