Terry Lee Busick, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 18, 2025 after a sudden and tragic farming accident. A native of Guilford County, he was born January 17, 1949 to the late Leo Thomas Busick and Vannie Irene Baldwin Busick.
Terry’s life may have been cut short but he finished well with a strong and close relationship to Christ. He was a man in the Scriptures and living the Scriptures. Finishing strong means that he left his children and grandchildren the priceless heritage of a godly life. He retired from Proctor & Gamble and was a lifelong farmer. He was a faithful member of Hines Chapel where he served on the Deacon Board and Missions Committee. Service at the church included being Sunday School superintendent and coordinating mission trips. He was a faithful and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Terry is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith Busick after 55 years of marriage; daughters: Amy Turner and husband, Jesse of Browns Summit and Crystal Church and husband, Ryan of Greensboro; son, Brian Busick and wife, Brandy of McLeansville; grandchildren: Levi Turner, Jude Turner, Gideon Turner, Jenna Church, Emma Church, Austin Busick and Caleb Busick; and siblings: Becky May (Ronald), Thomas Busick and Linda Sue Richtarik (John).
Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his twin brother, Timothy Lane Busick.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00pm on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Hines Chapel Church by Rev. Calvin Sacra; Rev. Milton Wilder and Rev. Allen Myers with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
