Terry Madrid Corrales

Terry Madrid Corrales, born on April 15, 1945, in Vaughn, New Mexico, passed away on February 4, 2026, in Roswell, New Mexico. A cherished member of her family and community, Terry’s life was marked by love, creativity, and resilience.

Terry was the beloved wife of Rosario Corrales, whom she married on September 2, 2000. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home, creating lasting memories with their family.

As a mother, Terry embraced her role with boundless affection. She is survived by her children: James Aguilar and Carl Aguilar, both residing in Roswell, New Mexico; Renee Fulk and Efren Vera, who live in Ohio; Maria Schwalbe from Minnesota; Joey Vera of Oklahoma; and Paul Vera from Florida. Each of her children carries forward the love and values instilled in them by their nurturing mother.

Terry also shared a deep connection with her siblings: Silvia Madrid and Fatima Madrid, both of Clovis, New Mexico, and Manuel Madrid from Albuquerque, New Mexico. The bonds formed within this family have been a source of strength and support, reflecting her commitment to family ties.

In addition to her immediate family, Terry was predeceased by her daughters, Lisa Reynolds and Pam Vera, whose memories continue to live on in the hearts of their loved ones. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Eulalio and Jacoba Madrid, as well as her sister, Patsy Madrid, and brother, Estevan Madrid. The loss of these family members left a profound impact on Terry, shaping her unwavering spirit and compassion for others.

Terry had a passion for clay crafts, using her talents to bring creativity into her life and the lives of those around her. Her gentle nature and artistic flair endeared her to many, and she leaves behind a legacy of creativity that will inspire generations.

Viewing will take place an hour prior to the funeral Mass.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vaughn. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn, NM.
