Terry D. Corrigan

Terry D. Corrigan, age 74, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 27, 1948 in Jefferson City, Mo., a daughter of Bueford "Bubby" and Ruth Marie (Stewart) Hayden. She was married to Dennis Corrigan in Brownsville, New Jersey. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2019.
A resident of central Missouri for the majority of her life, Terry was a graduate of Jefferson City High School.
The Missouri State Division of Finance is where Terry completed a 35 year career of service as a Report Analyst. Terry excelled in work with numbers and enjoyed the challenges that were presented to her in the work.
Terry was an avid reader and often one would find her curled up with a well-loved Louis L'amour book. Traveling was also something Terry enjoyed and she made many trips with friends and family to warmer climates. She had a passion for the ocean and spent many hours on the beaches of Florida soaking up the sun and taking in the salty sea air. Her love for the ocean came from time spent in North Carolina as a young child. The time in North Carolina was a particularly fond memory for her; one that she would recall many days of her life.
Terry will be remembered for her giving spirit and unconditional love. Her family was her life. She was sure to nurture, encourage, and enrich the lives of her family in many ways. Her home was always warm and welcoming - a safe-haven for all who passed through the doors. One particular way she expressed her feelings was in her cooking. She was always eager to try new recipes, but never gave up on an "old standby". If a recipe was particularly fabulous it was said to have been "made with love."
Terry is survived by: two children, Angie Plumb and Brad Corrigan, one son-in-law, Steve Plumb, all of Jefferson City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Ethan Plumb, Morgan Retta (Nahome), Austin Corrigan and Will Corrigan; four siblings, Steve Hayden (Janet) of Holts Summit, Mo., Debby Hayden of Jefferson City, Mo., Tim Hayden (Sherry) of Jefferson City, Mo., Tracy Hayden (Donna) of Jefferson City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Dennis.
Private graveside services and entombment will be held at the Mausoleum of Resurrection Cemetery.
