Terry Dale Haney, age 53, born on September 19, 1971, in McDowell County, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2024 at UNC Health Care in Morganton. He was a cherished husband, brother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.
Terry took great pride in his work, over twenty years to Cintas in Asheville, where he formed lasting friendships with his coworkers. His commitment and strong work ethic were evident throughout his career, earning him the admiration of many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stacey T. Haney, mother in law; Amelia Lipe, step father; Roger Lowe and his sisters, Sharon Crowder and her husband Danny, Rhonda Elliott and her husband Mark, and Loretta Reel and her husband Tommy. Terry is also remembered by his brother, Dennis "Tater" Haney, as well as a number of nieces and nephews who brought him great joy. He had a special friend, who he thought of as a brother, Robert Morris and his wife Robin, and enjoyed a unique relationship with his goddaughter, Dabriana Morris, and her husband Tyler Williams.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Etrula Strickland Haney and his brothers Duane Ray, Dennis Ray, and Ricky Ray. Their memories will always remain a part of his legacy.
A Memorial Service for Terry Dale Haney will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM, at Beam Funeral Service with the Pastor Ray Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. This gathering will provide family and friends the opportunity to celebrate his life and share in the love and memories that he created.
Terry's spirit and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he shared will forever endure.
