Terry Hill

In Loving Memory of Terry Hill (1948 - 2025)
On Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, we give thanks for the life of Terry Hill, who went to be with the Lord and the family members who preceded him in death. Born on August19, 1948, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Roye and Evelyn Hill,
Terry passed peacefully, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, leadership, and kindness.
Terry began his career working alongside his father at Paul Bunyan Burger and later served as an EMT with the Leawood Fire Department, showing compassion and courage in service to others.
He worked for Meyer Dairy until its closure and spent 11 years as Distribution and Cooler Manager at Hiland Dairy. A man of remarkable intellect and curiosity, Terry developed flight simulation software and served as IT Director at Comp Results until 2015. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management in 1997 and his Master of Science in Management in 1999 from Baker University.
Terry also dedicated four years as Mayor of Basehor, Kansas,
guiding his community with integrity and vision.
He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor and a proud member of The Mill Creek Rifle Club.
Terry is survived by his loving wife Christine;
stepchildren Erik Eyerly and Angie Ward (and husband Eric); his brother Steve (and wife Lori) sister Jerry and his children Tracy Summer, Lee Hill, and Adam Hill. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, a great grandson, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Tonganoxie Terrace Nursing Center and Vitas Hospice for their compassionate care.

A graveside service will be noon Saturday December 6,2025 at Holy Angels Cemetery, Basehor,KS.
