Billy O.R. Millsap

Billy O.R. Millsap Sr., McLouth, KS, formerly of Tonganoxie, passed away November 23, 2025, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday November 28, 2025, at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Billy was born February 8, 1959, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Billy F. and Frances I (Simmons) Millsap. Billy picked up the hammer at an early age following in his father's footsteps in the field of carpentry, construction and cabinetry which he was very skilled in. He worked as a carpenter for the Kansas City Star for 30 years and later worked as a maintenance man at the Country Care before retirement. Billy attended Piper High School where he met his wife. He was united in marriage on June 4, 1977, to Barbara Diane (Stack) Millsap. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his father Billy F. Millsap and Mother Frances and stepfather Donald McCracken.

Survivors include; one son, Billy (Alecia) Millsap II, McLouth, KS; one daughter, Terri (Luke) Stean, McLouth, KS; one brother, Donald S. (Carmen) Millsap, Georgiana, AL; two sisters, Diana (William "Bub") Treff, Golden, MO, Janice (Jerry) Newberry, Tonganoxie; and three grandchildren, Wyatt Millsap, George and Clarissa Stean.
