Mindy Marie Evans

The family of Mindy Marie Evans is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the age of 44. Mindy's long battle with depression and mental illness became unbearable and her family has found solace knowing that she is resting in peace. Mindy was born on May 10, 1981 to Mike and Debbie Evans in Kansas City, Kansas. Mindy graduated from Piper High School in 1999 and went on to graduate from Pittsburgh State University in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and minor in Early Childhood Education. Mindy most recently worked as a pharmacy technician at The Medicine Shoppe and did home healthcare for Bob and had a special friendship with his wife, Pamela. Mindy found happiness with family, friends, listening to music and going for long drives. Mindy's greatest joy in life was being "Mimi". Mindy will be remembered by her family for her boisterous laughter and strong conviction on any topic.
Mindy is survived by her parents, Debbie and Mike Evans; her sister and brother-in-law, Brooke and Jeremy Sexton; her children, Landon Evans and Macie Little; grandson, Braxton Eastwood and his father, Cole Eastwood. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A memorial service for Mindy will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-6:00pm with the memorial service beginning at 6:00pm.
A celebration of life will follow on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at George Meyn Center.
All are welcome to attend both gatherings to honor and remember Mindy's life, love, and laughter.
