Terry Allen Jacobson, "Jake", died peacefully at home in Wausau, Wisconsin, on March 8, 2024.
Born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, on May 14, 1943, to the late Orlando "Red" and Eunice (Zitzner)Jacobson.
A passionate sales professional in the clothing industry, radio advertising and auto sales and brought joy and laughter and a joke, both good and bad to those around him.

He was known for his love of golfing, racquetball, and found peace and contentment exploring the shores of Lake Superior with his long-time partner MaryPat LaMarche. Making work both enjoyable and fun was always what Jake strived for.  Bartending at the Hiawatha was often a highlight of his week, and we all know he was the life of the bar.
Terry will be deeply missed by MaryPat; his children Tracy (David)  Laird, Scott (Rachel) Jacobson, and Kelsey (Erik) Isakson .  He is further survived by his 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. His sister, Shelby, proceeded him in death.

There will be a memorial gathering held at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams, St., on Thursday, March 14 from 1-2 pm, followed by Jake's memorial service at 2 pm.

Jake was truly a ray of sunshine to all who knew and loved him.

A special thank you to Aspirus Hospice at Home for their help and care, and especially, Jake's nurse Taylor Johnson, who through this very difficult journey, guided the way with skill, compassion, and humor.

May Terry's memory bring a smile to the faces of all those who knew and loved him.
