John Terry Johnson, 76, or rural Ash Flat, Arkansas (Izard County) passed away December 4, 2025 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born February 1, 1949 in Rockford, Illinois to John Henry and Marjorie Pomering Johnson.
Terry became a FAN of the CUBS!!! and "da BEARS" and the University of Illinois. He enjoyed playing Bingo and a good slot machine. He loved coaching, especially his own children. He had worked as a foreman in a steel factory.
Survivors include his son, Gary (Stephanie); two daughters, Wendy Aumann and Kelly Huddleston (John); eight grandchildren: Nikki Lewis (Sam) and Chris Aumann, Kyle, Lindsey, & Courtney Huddleston, Nolan, Owen, & Cal Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Braxton & Brylie Lewis; two sisters, Patricia Sutton and Margaret Buchanan (Scott); many other relatives and good friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald; a brother-in-law, Chuck Sutton; and most recently his wife, Cheryl.
