Terry C. LaDuron

Terry C. LaDuron, 70, of Iron Mountain, MI, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay.
Terry was born November 11, 1954, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Wesley and Doris (Janeshek) LaDuron. After graduating from Iron Mountain High School, Terry not only served in the U.S. Army, but he went on to earn a bachelor's degree in marine biology. After time spent teaching at the college level, Terry worked as a claims specialist at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain.
Terry married Donna (Kujala) Ackerman, and she gave him the family he never had but always wanted. Loving each other unconditionally, they supported each other, and were each other's rock. It felt like all they ever needed was each other.
A member of the American Legion Post 50, Terry was a scuba diver and a Packers fan who loved watching westerns on TV. Most of all, he loved his family.
Terry is survived by his wife, Donna; his daughters, Stacey Ackerman and Liisa Ackerman; a brother, Ronald (Karla) LaDuron; a grandson, Hector Altoft; a sister-in-law, Diane (Ron) Hemming; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain with a service to follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
