Terry Lang

Terry Lang, 67, of Corydon, IN passed away peacefully in his son's arms on the afternoon of Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born in Corydon, IN on December 26, 1957, to the late Robert and Naomi Hart Lang.
Terry recently retired from South Harrison School Corporation where he had been a maintenance custodian for 37 years. He was a very social person and loved getting to talk to just about anyone. Over his six month cancer treatment he was sure to tell every nurse and doctor at the Cancer Center that his son, Jason, was on a billboard for his work, that his daughter in law, Mary, was a former teacher, and how precious and sweet his daughter Julie is. His family was his most cherished possession.
He enjoyed eating out, especially at Waffle House. He enjoyed telling stories and making people smile. His hobbies included fishing, baking, doing crafts, and fixing up vehicles. He also enjoyed his shopping trips with his beloved daughter and shooting guns with his son.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Kathleen Lang Yates and Cheri Lang Simcoe (Gary). Family members left to mourn his passing are his son Jason (Mary), his daughter, Julie, and his sister, Annette Lang Brown. All of Corydon, IN.
Services will be held at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home, Corydon, IN.
Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2025, from 3 PM -8 PM and Saturday, May 3 from 10 AM - noon. Pastor Melvin Beecher will officiate the funeral ceremony Saturday at noon, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Corydon, IN.
