Terry Wayne Long, 77, of Coffeyville, KS, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at his home.

He was born on October 16, 1948, in Coffeyville to Buford Marvin and Rosemary (Bowman) Long. Terry grew up in Coffeyville where he attended Longfellow Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High, Field Kindley High School, Coffeyville Community College, and completed his education at Pittsburg State University.

Terry married Gayle Caldwell and they had one daughter Kerrie Dyan, they later divorced.

He then married Susan DeTullio and he adopted her daughter Carrie Joan, they later divorced. In 1994 he married Kathy (Landrith) Fritz and gained her son Eric, the couple enjoyed 32 years together.

Terry was a lifelong resident of the town he loved. He was a respected member of the community, known for his dedication to his work at the Kansas Offset Printing Co. (KOPCO), where he served as a Sales Representative until his retirement. An avid sports enthusiast, Terry could often be found on the golf course or cheering on his favorite teams.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Long of the home; his children Kerrie (Andrew) Dodd, Carrie Long and Eric (Antonia) Fritz; his sister Pam White; and brother Cricket (Lynette) Long. Terry was a beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Rosemary Long, and his brother, Leon "Goose" Long.

Following Terry's wishes cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 300 West 9th Street in Coffeyville, with Pastor Dick Smith officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to FKHS Boys & Girls Golf Team and can be left at the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Rd., Coffeyville, KS 67337.
