Terry Lee Lyle, Jr., a man of strong faith and deep love, was called home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born on March 23, 1939, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Terry Lee Lyle and Lesbie Elizabeth Aldridge Lyle.

He passed away peacefully in his home, his happy place, surrounded by family.

Terry was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Pat. During their 61 years of marriage, they built a life full of love, laughter, and faith, and were blessed with children. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Lyle Parker, and her husband Eddie of Aledo, TX; son, Mark Lyle, and his wife Jennifer of Brownsboro, TX; son, Gary Fairman of Arlington, TX; and daughter, Sandra McKown, and her husband Scott of Colorado Springs, CO.

Terry's legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Cody Parker and wife Schyler of Aledo, TX; Tamrah Fairman and fiancé Phillip of Midlothian, TX; Alan Parker of Hico, TX; Alexis Parker of Corsicana, TX; Destiny Parker of Arlington, TX; Amber Parker and fiancé Nolan of Houston, TX; Emily Parker of Glen Rose, TX; Savannah Etheridge and husband Micah of Brownsboro, TX; Parker Lyle of Dallas, TX; Jennifer Lindsay and husband Matt of Houston, TX. Garrett Fairman of Rudd, OK; Courtney Fairman and partner Durgan of Tulsa, OK; and Sara Reed and husband Chris of Azle, TX.

He also leaves behind a growing family of great-grandchildren: Taylor, Cayson, Lincoln, Brynlee, Bailee, Levi, Sawyer, Caroline, Adeline, Olivia, Hayden, Makenzie, Berklee, Maddox, Brooklyn, and Jet.

Terry retired from General Motors after 41 years of dedicated service. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a weapons mechanic.

He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Kennedale, where his involvement and devotion to God were cornerstones of his life.

Terry found great joy in keeping his yard immaculate and spending time with his family and friends. Above all, Terry deeply adored his beloved wife, their love was a shining example of loyalty and devotion that inspired everyone who knew them. He loved getting together to play canasta with his friends every Friday night and had a lifelong admiration for any military aircraft, especially for F-100 Super Sabres, which he loved sharing with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Darlene Massey, James Lewis Lyle, Myrtle McCoy, Hazel Massey, Willie Mae Moon, Roland Lyle, Robert Lyle, T.J. Lyle, Noma Wilson, and Oliver Kinney; as well as his beloved dog, Coco.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Parker, Cody Parker, Alan Parker, Sam Swink, Micah Etheridge, and Phillip Southerland.

His unwavering belief in the power of prayer was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. His faith-filled life reflected his steadfast belief in the goodness of God's plan.
