Patsy Clancy Serratt of Arlington, Texas, died peacefully in Arlington, Texas, on October 20, 2025, at the age of 87.
Pat is survived by two sons, Kevin Serratt and wife, Paula, of Toxey, Alabama, and Kent Serratt and wife, Connie, of Arlington, Texas; sister Ruth Freeman of Wichita Falls, Texas; beloved grandchildren Dylan Serratt and wife, Kelsey, of New Caney, Texas, Maddie Serratt of Austin, Texas, and Parker Holland of London, England; and great granddaughters, Stella and Ayla Serratt of New Caney, Texas. She is preceded in death by husband, Jerry Serratt, parents Tommy Clancy and Annie Smith Clancy, and brothers Don Clancy and Paul Clancy.
Pat was born on May 16, 1938, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Tommy and Annie Clancy. After graduating from Midwestern University (now Midwestern State University) in 1959, Pat was employed by City National Bank in Wichita Falls.
Pat and Jerry married in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1962, settling in Falls Church, Virginia, after welcoming sons, Kevin and Kent. After Jerry retired from the U.S. Army, the couple returned to Texas, residing in North Richland Hills.
An inurnment will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, 75211.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org), the Wounded Warrior Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/), or the donor's charity of choice.
The family would like to thank Josie Morton for her care, friendship, and devotion.
