Terry L. Malcom, 83, of Stoughton, formerly of North Branford, CT passed away peacefully at Mass General Hospital January 17, 2023, from complications after a long battle with Melanoma. He was the loving and devoted husband of Joanne (Monaco) Malcom for 45 years.
Born in Bell, CA he was raised in Nebraska and Connecticut and was a graduate of Stetson University and member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Prior to his retirement, he was a bank officer at Fleet Bank, now Bank of America, having worked in various management capacities at numerous locations in New Haven and Middlesex Counties in CT from 1979 to 2004. He was a longtime member of the North Branford Congregational Church where he served as deacon and trustee and was on the finance committee for many years. He was a former member and officer of the North Branford, CT Rotary Club having been awarded a Paul Harris Fellow.
He most enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, vacationing in Weston, FL, Disney cruises, and golfing, but most of all, time with his wife Joanne.
Besides his wife, he is survived by their daughter Jennifer Cronin and her husband Stephen of Norwood; his son, Ralph W. Malcom of CT and his daughter, Cherry L. Malcom of Barre. He was the beloved Grandpa of Audrey and Jack Cronin, Matthew, Christopher and Patrick Malcom and Jeffrey and Jeremy Kokocinski. He is survived by his former daughter-in-law Christine Cassarino of CT and his two foster brothers Thomas Cilbrith of FL and Gary Tilford of AR.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be prior to the service from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the North Branford Congregational Church, 1680 Foxon Rd., N. Branford, CT 06471.
