Terry Mallory

Terry Lee Mallory, 79, passed away on February 25, 2025. Terry was born October 25, 1945 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Palma Gunderson.
He joined the Army in 1967 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He lived in Germany, Japan, Italy and the United States. He was honorably discharged in 1971 as a Sgt, E-5.
Terry married Susan Marie Schwartz on May 5, 1979 in Kansas City, MO. For the last 25 years they made their home in Oakhurst, California.
Throughout his career he owned his own golf cart repair shop, worked at Pebble Beach Golf Course. His favorite position was as a maintenance engineer at Mission Ranch working for Clint Eastwood who featured Terry's work truck in the film "Bridges of Madison County."
He enjoyed gold mining, remote control helicopters, collecting coins and stamps and metal detecting.
Terry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan, brother David, stepdaughter Jaime Blank, stepson, Heath Blank, son Layland Mallory and fur-babies Charlie, Lucky, and Ava. He was preceded in death by his mother, Palma Gunderson, brother Franklin Edwards and fur-babies Fancy, Maggie, Maxwell, Meghan, Gino, Molly, Mandy, Robby and Mia.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 So. Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
