Terrence Michael McCarrell, age 71, of Green Bay, passed away on January 30, 2025.
He was born on February 2, 1953 to Charles and LaVerne McCarrell in Green Bay, WI. Terry worked as a welder in the shipyards. But he was a restless soul and held many professions throughout his life, including; landscaping, carpentry, forklift driving, steel worker, sous-chef, and bartender.
He loved football, swimming, baseball, hiking, critters, wildlife, and dogs. Terry was loveable, witty, spontaneous, and knew exactly how to lift your spirits. He may hold the record for hitchhiking miles throughout the country. Trekking all the way from the west coast to the east coast, and most places in between.
Terry struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, but he proudly won his battle 9 years ago. Unfortunately, he was unable to quit smoking. He wanted to quit, but couldn't, so he encouraged others to do so.
Terry is survived by his daughter; Amanda, his grandchildren; Carmen Rodriguez, Sandra Rodriguez, Christian Lee, Salvador Lee, Adrian Lee, and Allison Lee, his great-grandchildren; Shylow Rodriguez, and Jr. Rodriguez, his siblings; Donna(the late Maynard), Chuck (Lynn), Tom (Kim), and Tim (Ann), and friend; Kathy. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant siblings, Teddy, and Patrick, and beloved aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on May 29, 2025, at Pamperin Park from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. With Service to follow at 4:00 pm.
Terry's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Vincent Hospital and Hospice for the care they provided Terry.
