Terry Lynn McCrary, 66, of Anderson, Alabama passed away October 3, 2025, at Athens Limestone Hospital surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2025, 4-6 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday, October 6, 2025, 11 AM at Elkins East Chapel with Derril Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson, Alabama.

He was born in Lester, Alabama on October 11, 1958. He was a dedicated member of Powell Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He enjoyed being on the farm. He was a local carpenter for many years and continued his love for building with smaller projects for the grandchildren after retiring.

Mr. McCrary was preceded in death by parents, Austin and Nadine McCrary; sister, Becky Rose; nephews and niece, William Rose, Chris Roden, and Kristie McCrary.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Malisa McCrary; sons, Ty McCrary (Casey), Jared McCrary (Malorie); daughters, Megan Baskins (Aaron) and Angela Carlton (Ross); brothers, Ricky McCrary (Bonnie), Rodney McCrary (Angie), and Buel Rose; sister, Catherine Roden (Bud); grandchildren, Austin, Emma, Ann Makynlee, and Keller McCrary, Levi Baskins, Adelaide and Eleanor Carlton, Makenzie Harlan, Rylan Holt, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Pallbearers will be Austin McCrary, Blake Boston, Tyler Boston, Eric White, Aaron Baskins, and Ross Carlton. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to Athens Limestone Hospital ICU for the amazing care he received over the past few weeks, as well as all the prayers from the community, and friends.
